Hi guys,

Anyhow,
I'm looking for a 24 inch monitor with no speakers, antenna inn or things like that.
What i need:
- good respons time and refresh rate (games and video)
- good colours (photoshop)
Suggestions?

Acer & Hann. G. for affordability. Samsung for image quality. I use only Samsung. My eyes are on the screen the whole time I am at the computer. Not the case, not the keyboard. Mouse. or any other bling.

If you are looking at the low end (350-400) you are going to have bad colors as they will all be TN panels.

Most manufacturers use the same panels so the main differences are the smaller features they each get.

If you are more interested in having proper colors I would suggest the 2408 by Dell. This however has some input lag which might put you off regarding games.

A 24" TN would be fast with less input lag but you seriously compromise the color fidelity.

There is a whole LCD thread in Video forum, I'd check that out

24 inch monitor goodness is definitely an Acer! Inexpensive, large and relatively nice to look at! The price will fool you!

Hi,

I will look into the suggestions. I noticed however that the respons time with a lot of 22+ screens is rather high and they offer only 60 hz refresh rates, is this enough?
