How are the facilities in your neck of the woods? For your first time were you shy/shame?

I have five appointments with a personal trainer. I'm hoping he or she will be able to show me the basics on lifting weights the right way etc etc. How to use the equipment the right way etc etc. I can't wait to begin my journey to losing around 50lbs!

You signed a contract, didn't you? How long was it for?

I did, but it isn't for for any type of long term thing. I can quit when I want. I read all the fine print and all that bullcrap.

I would join but it's so damn expensive...I really don't have 200 bucks for an initial setup fee and the monthly fee right now. Considering I'd go once every other day about which is 15 times a month. I can get a 20 punch card at my local rec center for 60 bucks...
