I currently have a GT670. My current 22" TN panel is about to die. I have to unplug the power each time to get it to accept a video signal. Looking to run a dual 24" displays but only game in one monitor. I dont want to go over $500 max for each monitor. Looking for good color but dont need the color purity % that IPS panels has to offer. Nividia 3D gaming really does not interest me either. What do you recomend.
 
Or, for about the same price: a 16:10 IPS display with Display Port and great response time (for an IPS monitor).

You give up the chance to go 3D later, but I've found the extra vertical resolution of 16:10 panels--dying breed that they are--is just fantastic. Plus, although you mention not needing IPS levels of color quality, they also have the benefit of broader viewing angles--something that is definitely a plus when running multiple displays.
