Would there be just a negligible difference in the 2100 and the 2250 cells.....for digital camera purposes? thanks, robert

These cells wont be that good for a digital camera, they are only 1.2 volts, not 1.5. You will be able to use the cells, but bring extras with you.

Learn something about rechargeables, pal. All AA and AAA rechargeables are 1.2 volts! They are PERFECT for digital cameras. Its the 'mah' (milli-amp-hour) ratings that determine how long these will 'run' a device.

Non-rechargeables (alkaline, etc) are 1.5 volts, but their power drops off very quickly and are LESS THAN perfect for digital cameras.

yes i've had a few digital cameras that refuce to run longer than 30min on achalines but ran for hours even on cheap NIMH

Actually, it's not the mAh that makes NiMH better than alkalines, but rather their ability to realize near-peak mAh under the high current draws of digital cameras. If you take a look at alkaline capacities, they vary significantly with current draw - the higher the peak draw, the lower the total capacity available. That's why photogs prefer rechargables in flash units (aside from the cost issue).

Anyway, I have a set of 1800mAh Powerizer (batteryspace) AAs, and have not been particularly impressed. A set of Panasonic 1600s seems to regularly outlast them on my digicam. I also got a bad batch of AAA powerizers (4 out of 10 failed/leaked) but, to Batteryspace's credit, they were replaced without any hassles.

I may get these to replace the 1800 and cross my fingers...$1.33 shipped is pretty decent. You can google for the 5% coupon, or just use their second level domain.

I brought some of these two weeks ago and got 12 AAA 750mAh included for the same price. Both sizes work very well. :D

Close but no cigar. NiCads and sintered-plate NiMH have low internal resistance, high current capability, but these higher-capacity AA cells don't. What makes them superior to Alkalines is the voltage-discharge curve, that they maintain a nearer flat curve, maintain the voltage till the majority of the charge is depleted, while an Alkaline has a proportional voltage drop till it's too low to power the device yet a fair amount of it's capacity is still remaining.

NiMH also have a much lower capacity when the discharge rate is increased, it is not a distinction from alkalines.

Thanks! I was thinking about buying these a few days ago and there was no free shipping option, so waiting saved me about 6 bucks, plus I found the 5% off coupon :)

This deal (24 @ 2250mAh for $31.99) is a good deal. I suggest the package deal of 24 @ 2250mAh plus 12 @ 750mAh AAA for just $34.99 (only 3 bucks more!). Here is the link. (Edit: Sorry, it looks like there is no free shipping with the package deal.)

Two weeks ago I bought 24 Pcs AA 2000mAh+12 Pcs 750mAh AAA for $28.49 from these guys (plus shipping) - here is the link. They sent me 2250mAh AAs instead. :D (Edit: This item now shows "out of stock", which is probably why they upgraded me.)

Good batteries, too.

How would these compare to the pricy Powerex batteries from thomas-distributing? I know they're the cream of the crop, but how do these hold up?

Did you actually do a search on Powerex or powerizer? Try it before you claim there are reviews in this forum next time please. I will accept your apology in advance to Mr. Beatle....you are forgiven. :)

On another note.....

Thanks OP these will come in handy.
