that or just the labels got the bump. mAh ratings on batteries tend not to be all that accurate from what i've seen

Just picked up a set. After I get them and charge them I'll post my results. Thanks OP.

I also use the La Crosse BC-900. It truly is an awesome charger. Only 4 at a time but it is not just a plug and charge 'em up unit. After charging it tells you an approximation of Mah charge in each battery. It also will discharge/charge or refresh (repeated discharge/charge) to keep these expensive batteries in top form.
Pricy ($40) but worth it IMO.

Just as an fyi, Buy.com has 20 pks of 2650 mAh AA batteries on sale for $18.88 plus shipping. You can put together some pretty decent deals for batteries with GCO.......
they also have 10pks of AAA for $12 if that is what you need as well......

How about 192 AA rechargable batteries for $40 including shipping.Seems like a great deal but they don't come with a charger.

OOPS.My bad. They are NOT rechargable. They had some rechargable earlier and I got them confused.I read there forum and apparently these expire in 08,but still a good deal if you need lots of batteries.
