24/7 big box stores?

I already do 95% of my grocery shopping between 11pm and 2am. I was just reflecting on how awesome it would be if home depot or lowes was open 24/7. I don't think I'd sleep on the weekends...

It's not common for walmart's to be open 24/7 in the north east, so we pretty much only have 24/7 drugstores, grocery stores, and of course WAWA!!!

If Home Depot, Best Buy and stores like that were open 24/7, do you think you'd do more 2am shopping?

I'd use my gym 24/7. With stores I'd be too afraid of getting mugged.

there are NO big box stores 24 hrs in canada for the most part

well, at least edmonton area.

there are a bunch of Home Depot and Lowes open 24 hours. there are 4 HD's within about 30 minutes of me that are 24 hours. the nearest lowes that is 24 hours is quite a ways away.

WaWa is awesome. If Lowe's was 24/7 I'd probably shop there late at night, but 10 p.m. is usually late enough for me. Best Buy and CC are 3+ miles away though, I don't feel like driving way the hell out there late at night.

Most definatly. I remember several times in the past few months that I wished that Best Buy or CompUSA was open at 1:00 AM. Two were work related, one was for a LAN party.

They used to have 24/7 Home Depot in Vancouver Canada........ but I guess it was not busy enough....... so they went back to normal operating hours.

Like others have said, HD used to be open 24/7 in select locations, but many of the stores have changed. When I worked at what was then the busiest store in the country, it had gone from 24/7 to open only until midnight.
