24 256gb SSD's... What to do?

yea first off those are slow ass samsung SSDs from like 2007-2008ish, 24 sandforce drives would quite literally destroy that setup, and second, as noted by the drive age, thats an old ass vid. i think i posted that when i was new here lol

The Samsungs did destroy that setup. You couldn't do any better with SandForce drives, because the board was bottle-necked already.

They defragged with Ausalogics, which is a very fast tool. Obviously there's no need to defrag an SSD, but the video also shows it's a poor test for drive speed. They only had 50Gb on the drives, and out of 24,500 files, only 3 were "defragged". The program works that fast on my Caviar Black, under those circumstances.

lol, corsair broke the PCMV HDD suit world record with 11xF200's RAID'ed on an ARECA 1680D-IX-12 and a 980 OC'd to 5791 under LN2 few month's later,
though the record got broke few times again since then by a 12xACARD system raided on a 1231ML 4GB with a 980 at 4 something.
