and the soyo 24"? It cheap ($249 on BF) and its an M-PVA panel.
Point being that it is cheap doesn't make it conclusively a TN panel ( as being expensive doesnt make it S-IPS).

Sorry for the late response.

The Soyo DYLM24D6 is sold by officemax but I cant seem to find it on their website right now.
Regular price is $399 but they often have it on sale for $299 ( and u shld be able to apply coupons also to save extra)

The $249 price was for black friday http://forums.anandtech.com/me...ht_key=y&keyword1=soyo

Seems quite a number of people got in on the BF deal (http://forums.anandtech.com/me...t_key=y&keyword1=soyo) so they might be out of stock.

If u are still interested and havent gotten in on the deal, u can stop over at a nearby OM and see if they will still honor the deal.

officemax, i hate them. long story short, im still on backorder for a desk after 2 months.
 
i had an al2416 for a while and it was pretty "washed out" so i returned it.

checked this one at the store to see if it was any different, and the demo on the machien there was mostly dark colors, but i still think its not very "vibrant".


i suppose this is compared to the monitors i use most of the time, which at work are dell 2007fp / fpw (i have both) and my 20wmgx2.

for $280 though its prtty cheap if you are not expecting the world for it. its $349-$70 rebate (for LOUISSS)..
