I need to get a new monitor for graphic design work and was originally thinking of going with a 24" acer, but noticed that 23" are a little bit cheaper for the same resolution.

Would the 23" be a bit sharper, based solely on the resolution? The price difference is fairly negligible so, based on image quality (between the same brands), would you go with a 23" or a 24"?

Thanks!

EDIT:

Here are the monitors I'm considering:

ASUS VW246H 24" http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16824236049 $219

SAMSUNG 2343BWX 23" http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16824001317 $209

ASUS VH242H Black 23.6" http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16824236052 $199.99

Go with the bigger one if they price difference is negligible. A link or model might help though so we know what you're looking at.

I'd go for the bigger one, I just got a 26" LCD and I couldn't be happier. Make sure the ms is less then 5.

It's a tough call between the Asus VW246H and the Samsung 2343BWX. Samsungs are well known for having the best LCD panels, and this one does have a slightly higher native resolution. However, if you plan to watch Blu-ray movies on your computer, I think the Asus running at a 1080p native res and faster response time might be slightly better. Whether the differences are noticeable in the real world is a subjective thing. The Samsung is cheaper though from the get go and has a $20 mail in rebate lowering it's price to $189.99 I think I would go with the Sammy in this case.
