23 days and we start our thru hike on the AT

So, we are wrapping up our time in california, and putting the mustang in storage, flying to atlanta, picking up our gear and hitting the AT on the 28th or 29th. We are getting very excited as the time draws closer.
After wrapping up 3000 miles from coast to coast, we are gonna walk 2174 from GA to Maine. Hurrah!!!

The guy I worked with retired last week, he is doing that exact same hike.

nah, i left work about 6 months ago. we sold our clinic, our house, and now we are nomadic. We left our motorhome at the beach house in SC and took the mustang to california.

We have spread our cars out with our relatives to store.

My wifes sister has our 78 cj7, her mom our 73 bug. the motorhome and the 2002 tj are at the beach, and we sold the hybrid.
It feels good to be so carefree, and it'll feel even better once we hit the trail.
(the two older cars are away from the beach so they won't rust)
