Hope this is the right area to put this, if not please lemmw know.

Ive been pulling my hair out over this issue for a few hours now, Vista Ultimate is currently recognising my 22w3 as a Non-PnP monitor, ive gone ahead and tried to update the driver in Device manager to a Generic PnP driver and still cant the the 1680x1050 res. All of my drivers for my graphics cards are currently up to date (aug 20th) and have even tried uninstalling the graphics driver/generic driver to see if that would help. I have tried multiple ports and also disabled the crossfire option, still nothing. Is there anything that im missing that i can try?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A few questions:

1) Using DVI or VGA connector?

2) What video card (I assume an ATI card or some sort)

3) Can you try the monitor on anotehr computer? I would think the monitor is OK, but it won't hurt to verify this.

I don't know much about Vista but Windows XP, on the monitor tab in advanced properties, has an option to "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display". Try unchecking that option, if it exists in Vista.

Yes there was an option, i was able to have the monitor switch back to the 1680 res. Ill check later tonight to see if it will keep the native res while gaming but looks good so far. Thanks for the help.
