microcenter has i3-2100 + motherboard deals this month. might pick up one of those. anyone recommend any of their motherboards?

So pretty much any LGA1155 board they sell? I would probably grab the GA-Z68AP-D3 or GA-Z68MA-D2H.

msi h67 boards any good?

They're suppose to be just as good as the ASUS and Gigabyte versions. Not a lot of people buy MSI around here though it seems. People tend to stick to the better known brand names. Just my own opinion on what I have seen and heard. I've never owned a MSI mobo. If you see a particular model that you are interested in then do the google search for reviews and such. Something other than New Egg reviews too since NE reviewers tend to be a bit flaky at times.

They're fine in general (along with other MSI boards). They usually don't hit the low price points that ASRock does or the high-end features that ASUS and Gigabyte do, so you don't see them mentioned much.
