22" Sharp LCD flat screen t.v. $1,399.00

3 days ago I was about to buy this LCD tv flat screen for $1,899.00 at Fry's, at Best Buys they have it for $1,999.00 The fry's salespeople told me this is really a good deal so I got one for my office.

Even at $1399, it is still very expensive considering what you can get for that price.
I've seen LCD TV and they are no better than a PC with a video card.
HDTV is much more impressive and cost much less.

I think LCD TV is the most overrated TV ever.
Nobody with a reasonable budget will ever consider LCD TV.

It said its available at fry's, and these are for people who are interested in LCD Flatscreen, like people who want one, I am posting it for people to know that it was on sale at Fry's this weekend. That's it, if you don't like LCD, who's forcing you to buy one, like I said, it's for people who want LCD tv so they can mount it on a wall. HDTV can't be mounted on a wall, (unless it's plasma)I use this on my dental office where regular HDTV set would take up too much space. Oh yeah, Best Buys have it for $1,999.00 Fry's has it for $1,399.00. Model is Sharp 22" Aquaos, it's the only 22" inch LCD widescreen that they carry.
Forgive the typo, I was in a hurry. Fry's originally has it for $1,899, then it went on sale this weekend for $1,399.00.

To all people who forget that this forum is about hot deals, sales, rebates...etc. This is what this forum is about basically, this is not about "LCD is the most overrated product on the market" nor is it about " if you listen to fry's people, then I have something to sell to you" This forum is about where you can get that particular product for a lot less money without getting screwed or without outright stealing them. So if you see a person posting a price of an item, and you think that particular item sucks, who know's, somebody out there has a use for that particular item that you think sucks, but he still wants to get it thru a b&m store instead of ordering one thru the internet which usually has the lowest price around. To get straight to the point. "THIS FORUM IS ABOUT FINDING THE LOWEST PRICES AROUND" hence the title "Hot Deals" If you want to argue that LCD is the most overrated product or whatever topic that is not related to price, go to Videos forum or something.

Amaretto - it's appreciated that you posted this deal, but SKORPI0 was correct to call you out as you did not mention in the original post where it was available for $1,399. Additionally, VSOP was just offering up an option for readers who were interested enough in a 22in LCD in the first place. Some people may draw a line for what they are willing to pay for something, $1,000 may seem more appealing than $1,400.

VSOP - I noticed this earlier and have been trying to find some info on this display. The Real Digital LCDs pros are a 16ms response time and cool design/external speakers. Cons - 400:1 contrast ratio (compared to Sharp's 500:1), no TV tuner. Neither this or the Sharp double very well for computer monitors. (Could anyone find the dot pitch on either of these models?) My only concern is that Real Digital is an unfamiliar name - does anyone know who the parent company is that is "the world's leading TFT-LCD panel company?"
