22 Inch Monitor Question

I recently got a Dell 228WFP monitor. It works great, but when I try to run something at a resolution lower than 1650 x 1050, say 1280 x 800 for WoW, the screen isn't filled 100% vertically. How do I get the image to stretch out to fill the screen?

The resolution 1280 x 800 doesn't seem to be an optimum type of display. Hence causing those distortion.
have u tried if its okay at 1280 x 1024 ?

at 1280 x 800, the pixels won't be able to display sharp images.

That's it. I didn't realize monitors didn't like particular resolutions.

why cant you run it at the monitors native resolution? (1650x1050)

All "fixed pixel" monitors.. LCD, Plasma run best at the native res..

i happen to have that same monitor and WoW ran fine for me at the native res
