22" gaming lcd

There were 3 22" models i was choosing from:
LG Flatron L227WT http://www.newegg.com/Product/...Item=N82E16824005109&T

Dell UltraSharp 2209WA http://www.cnet.com.au/dell-2209wa-339294389.htm

I had 3 samsungs before (like 15 years total lol) and i know it would be a safe choice cause there havent been a single problem with any one of them.
But the final battle goes between LG and Dell, good responsivness and low input lag vs better quality IPS with lag, and im more into LG. (never worked on Dell)
So anyone used Dell or/and LG for hc gaming and can tell the difference?
Maybe there is a better model i dont know of?


Another question about resolutions, how much ill loose when playing on 24" 1920x1200, but set to 1680x1050?

if you care, the L2252TQ is a bit better of a gaming panel over all imo. same price bracket, without that annoying glossy screen. of course, if you only game in the dark it doesnt really matter, but i find glossy screens to be teh suck when you are gaming during the day and it's sunny out, since the glare is horrible.

as for picking between the 3, i would go with the IPS panel. the 22 inch IPS panels are supposed to have pretty low lag, and you should be fine for gaming. the LG one still isnt a bad pick tho. as i already said, i own the non glossy version. got it before the new dell one came out by about 2 months though

This Asus is great for the price. I'm using Asus MK221H 22" Lcd and it has great picture and quality.

Why would anyone stay with 1680x1050 22", not go for 1920x1080p lcd,such as 23" ASUS? For watching video and movies?

1920x1200 has really dropped in price lately.

I remember back in 2007 (when I bought my 1680x1050 22") 24"LCDs were going for at least $550. Now good ones @ true 1920x1200 resolution are $350.
