I use 2040 and 2060u's at work, and my older/second hand 2020u still going strong....I can vouch for the Mitsu.

cant go wrong with either because they're essentially the same company now that NEC bought out Mitsu's monitor division. I believe that the NEC monitors are positioned as a Value line while the Mitsus are the higher end line. depends on what you're willing to pay.

The FE2111sb is a really cool monitor. The SuperBright options are awesome. My games rock with this baby.

I had the 2060u... it was good. Still, i prefer Sony.

The FP2141SB-BK and DP2070U are both the EXACT same monitor, get the cheapest one. This was told to me by NEC-Mitsubishi USA. I own the FP2141SB-BK.

I ended up going through three of the 2141SB-BKs before I went to the Sony I have now. I am glad I switched to Sony. The people here who are saying NEC and Mitsu are the same company are correct. Where specs are identical, go for the cheapest model.
