#22 California vs. Minnesota

Here's to hoping the Bears don't choke on a fat one again this week. You guys are making the Pac-10 look bad.

So you're saying that schools like Stanford that lose to Div I-AA schools like UC Davis make the Pac-10 look better?

You singled out Cal as making the Pac-10 look bad.

Yes, and they did make the Pac-10 look bad last week. But I never said Stanford losing to UC Davis makes the Pac-10 look better as you implied.

Cal looked no better than Stanford last week. Trust me I was there.

Nope, I only implied that saying Cal was making the Pac 10 look bad is short-sighted when teams 6-10 really make the Pac 10 look bad

If anything, Cal makes the Pac-10 look slightly better.

Washington played Oklahoma pretty tough. They ran for 207 hards against supposedly one of the best run defenses in the country with 4 brand new guys on the offensive line.

Edit: Also, both of Washington's running backs (Rankin and James) averaged more yards per carry than Adrian Peterson. Give one of them the heisman!

Wow defensive are we? Considering the title of this thread is #22 California vs. Minnesota it only makes sense to talk about Cal..not Stanford, not the big 10, not the SEC, not the NFL, not about the European football league.

But there's no possible argument that Cal being blown away by Tennessee does anything to improve the reputation of the Pac-10.

/go Bruins

You're aware the 10 in Pac 10 stands for the ten teams that make up the conference, right?

Talking about the Pac 10 is implicitly talking about Stanford, SC, and yes, the Bruins.

Saying that one of the top 3 (maybe 4) teams in the conference makes the Pac 10 look bad is like saying that the 911 makes Porsche look slow...

Yeah the PAC-10 hasn't been the best lately. They're in a rut...and I mainly thing it's because Washington has had so many coaching changes and controversies over the past 5 years. UCLA, USC, and Washington have always been the 3 to beat in the pac-10. Perhaps Oregon has made it up.

Wow you're an idiot. You didn't really go to Cal did you? The thread was not about the Pac-10 and then singling out Cal as being a bad Pac-10 team, it was about Cal but for some reason you want to include an in depth discussion about every single Pac-10 team..
