What to do so PC and Mac can share 22" Apple cinema display ?
Dr.Bott's MoniSwich DVI-Pro will not work with 22" display (according to their website).
That is about all I came up with so far.
Any input will be greately appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
oh man, I did not know it is even possible, if it is, i might sell my soul to get one of those. They are flat out beautiful, never seen anything like it in my life. Cummon someone, give the answer! 🙂
Um, doesnt Apple's 22in display use a custom connector for the display that transmits power AND the actual data? I really dont think that'd be possible to share the display...though it'd be sweet as hell 😉
With the Dr. Bott's "Diviator" there is no problem to hook up PC to the cinema display.
Question is how to share display between PC and Mac?
There are tones of different KVM switches out there but, none seem to work in this situation.
<< wanna go to a comp USA and see if we could hide one of those under our jackets >>
Hahaha. I don't think my body is nearly that wide. But seriously, if you're looking for a good deal on one of those, try your University or educational institution (assuming you're a student). My University Bookstore has the 22" model for around $1500 (that's if I remember correctly). We also have a patronage refund, so you get 8% of that back at the end of the year.
