Tea parties were one of my favorite things to go to on my last cruise. My little girl loved them!

I am pleased to learn of this. Perhaps when I get a chance to finally attend one, I will recall your pleasant experience and look forward to the same.

Never been to a high tea? 'Tis a sad, sad loss indeed. The shortbread cookies are worth high collars all by themselves.

I'm trying to register for a chinese tea ceremony session because I'm about to buy all the shit to make gungfu style tea, but the dipshits at the museum won't pick up the fucking phone!

I try out the afternoon tea service on all the cruises I go on (which is not too many). Carnival had a better one than Princess, on the ships I went on. The tea was a choose your own adventure (selection of premium bags) while Princess had some bitter black breakfast tea or something, pre-made. Also, the dessert samplings were better. Princess did have more food (not just dessert) items, but IMO they weren't that tasty.
