The fastest IDE drive available. $261.95 - $50 coupon (do your search for the code) = $215.95. The shipping is free.

Edit:
Whoops, there are a lot of people talking about this deal at Gateway, so this might have already been mentioned somewhere. I at least did the search before, so no frame please.

Edit2:
Per ActiveX's suggestion, you might be charged for tax depending on where you live. Also, placing this order will also take up the bandwidth of your internet connection, and you will be charged for the electricity for the time your computer is on in order to place the order online. The actual electricity charge may vary depending on the wattage of your power supply, speed of your processor, and other components in your computer. Placing the order will also take up your time which can be calucurated as the hidden cost for this deal. The actual $ value for the time depends on your educational and professional level.

the topic says $211.95 shipped, but its really $212.95 + tax shipped.

mwave.com has this drive for $208.95 + $8.00 to ship as well.

the 2MB (non-special edition), 120GB drive would be $188.95 after the coupon. That's a few bucks cheaper than a quick pricewatch search. The question is: Is the free shipping on purchases over $199 before or after coupon? Still not a bad deal. This is also a super fast drive (though louder than average) according to Storagereview.com

Tempting...

WD120BB 2MB cache

An interesting note: the 100GB version of this drive lists for $11 more than the 120GB drive. (actually this looks like a pricing error: maybe they swapped the prices for the 100GB special edition 8mb and "regular" 2MB version.)

It's so sad that people here are constantly on defense of getting flamed when posting a deal. Get a life flamers!

Read on Anantech web news (storage review.com??) that the 8mb version really shines compared to the 2mb version....

I remember reading how the 8mb cache suprised the reviewers in the performance, even random reads/writes.

Just something to think about before buying the 2mb version.

nice attempted TC, but...

Special Edition is $239 at mwave (scroll down)

There are two versions of this drive one with a 2MB cache and one with 8MB, which is the "special edition"

Thanks, Caveman2001.

I get so annoyed when people do nothing but frame on a thread when someone goes extra miles taking time to put a post for no reason but to share information. I spelled it out nicely not to be framed.

ActiveX,

I will edit my post to refrect your suggestion.
