I've been running a 1700+ in this mobo fine for about 14 months but my dad has offered to buy it off me at full retail price (about £50). This means that I can upgrade to a 2100+ for about £25-£30.
Abit's latest bios says that my mobo only supports up to a 2100+ Palomino and a 2000+ Tbred. But they're basically the same price and I would prefer to just get a Tbred. What would happen if I put a 2100+ Tbred in the mobo? Would it not detect it at all? Would it detect it as a 2000+? Can anyone help?
