....In Quake 2. OpenGL. Q2DM1. In the little cave with the rocket. facing the wall. 320x240. In the console with the timerefresh command.
I really got 2100 frames per second. Me and my friend nearly fell out of our chairs laughing.
Man, on my voodoo1 (which I played all my Q2 on), which could only run at 640x480, I was lucky to get 50 FPS (if that). My GTS was doing 600 FPS at 640x480, and my grunt was almost literally flying across the map.
