Hey I took everybodys advice and cancelled that same evening I ordered it, but I the order went through (I got an email confirmation about the shipment) so I called buy.com and told them what happened, and they told me to refuse the package or if it gets dropped off at my door they would pay return shipping.

Anyhoo it came 2 days ago and I just had to check it out before returning it. Firstly the packaging was fine nice perfect box no scars no dents no rips. I pulled it out and damn, it looked brand spanking new, no scratches no lil marks nothing I could swear this has never been used. Its up and running at 1600x1200 right now 75 hz. u cant imagine how different it is playing 3d games on a monitor like this wow its mind blowing. Alas I already ordered a new one so this is getting packed up and sent back to buy.com but I gotta tell u, I would have so kept this if I hadnt ordered another monitor. Maybe I just got lucky but this is worth above and beyond the mere 320 dollars I spent on it. I'v never ever used a 21" monitor before so I cant compare this with others, but damn this was a huge improvement over my 17" viewsonic.

thats just my 2 cents.

cheers fellas

to be honest I dunno much about monitors or what constitutes a hot deal but I just ordered one of these it seems to be decent, they have like 24 left. it does do 1600x1200 at 80 Hz Its old though, all the reviews I found said it was an excellent monitor but they were from 1998. I was gonna get a samsung 19" from buy.com but I saw this one so I picked it up. hmmm crap this is weird it seems that buy.com is down right now I was gonna link it but Ill just tell u where it is. Just goto the clearance section, click on computers, and once that expands goto monitors. Its near the bottom... and err they should have 23 left now not 24 :)

here is all the info name/sku and stuff to find it.

Dang--gone in less than 20 minutes. And I'm looking for a new monitor, too. Congrats on your find.

You are lucky you missed out. But if you really want one wait a few days and the latest batch of returns might show up. My wife ordered one of these from Buy.com and there were litterally dozens of scratches in the glass that showed up as black lines on any light background. In addition, it totally died the third day of use.

If I post this anymore I'm going to start to feel like a spammer, but here goes. If your looking for a pristine 3 yr. old referbed monitor with a 1 month warranty check out Secondwindpc.

hmm I cant access the darn site cuz Im at work, I thought it was down at first but I guess Its just the firewall setting here at my building.
DOH! that bad Randy? Well I guess I have at least a 50% chance that its not a lemon, Im willing to lose the 25 dollars on shipping and handling for a 21 incher. Luckily I work in DC in a federal (DOE) building they pay for all my shipping needs.

Ill try to send u guys the link when I get home.

BTW anyone know of any TVs that have SVGA inputs..and how well they actually perform under MONITOR things (such as desktop working, and PC game playing) ? Wonder what resolutions those TVs can get up to...

Yeah, I forgot to mention the packing. Very flimsy box for the size and weight of content. It was all torn up on delivery but no apparent damage because of the tears. The monitor was just bubble wrapped inside the box maybe three or four layers. And the monitor came with no manual, CD, or even a power cord. Fortunately Buy.com paid for the shipping back.

what's the quality of the stuff at intelsale.com? for a 21', 19.8 viewable, less than 300 shipped. Great price.

Just curious of the opinions on this place.
