I didn't think I would consider buying a 21" monitor, but I just saw a NEC E1100 yesterday for about $400 Canadian($250 US approx). I think it's the 1100+ cause it did go to 1600x1200 res and the 1100 only supposedly goes to 1280x1024. It's used but looks like it's good shape and under 2 years old. I have a 19" Viewsonic now and I like it alot but I don't know it's actually worth my time to buy a 21" monitor. Is this a good deal for a used 21" monitor(at a shop). The display looked very nice and sharp and bright for an invar shadow mask tube.
If anyone has a NEC 1100+, what are your opinions on it and what's NEC like compared to other manufacturers out there? What's the best 21" monitor(probably a new Sony)?
