My bro has the dell 21" it is pretty decent..haven't ever used the IBM one, so I would recommend the Dell.

I don't have money for an LCD.

Besides, I've got a HUGE and very solid desk, so the size isn't very important to me.

I bought a refurb P260 last fall and it's awesome. It does have a Sony tube...

The Dell P1130 is one generation ahead of the P260, and is equivalent to the newer P275. I would get the P1130 hands down.

Both the dell and the IBM use sony tubes.
The Dell P1130 uses the tube found in the Sony G520.
The IBM P260 uses the tube found in the Sony G500.

Look up the specs, the P1130 has a horizontal refresh of 131KHz, while the P260 has a horizontal refresh of 121KHz.

That's too bad..
I've used brand new ones and refurbished ones. The brand new ones are much much better than the refurbs. The refurbs are quite blurry unless you turn the brightness/contrast down, which negates the point of getting an aperture grill.

Why would they be blurry?
