I'm looking to downszie from a 25.5" monitor. I currently have a Samsung T260HD which is just too big for me. I have tried multiple configs, text sizes, etc. but it's just too big for my liking.

I use a standing desk and the monitor is pretty high up - it's top is at eye level. So I'm looking to go for something in the 21.5" range with a MiMo underneath it to display movies while I surf. 99.9% of my time is spent browsing or in Visual C# so I don't need anything too crazy as far as response times or color reproduction. I don't think an IPS panel is really necessary.

I'm looking for something that's either really nicely styled like an Alienware OR something that's ultra power efficient. It also absolutely has to have a VESA mount as the monitor I'm using now has a jerry-rigged bracket to get it on the monitor arm.

So anyways I was looking at this:

Is there any reason NOT to buy it? The styling is pretty sharp, it seems to hit all the right specs. I've already got speakers (upgrading soon but that is a whole different thread) and aside from your normal handful of lemons in the feedback section everyone seems to be raving about this bad boy. I also like the fact that it's cheap and can be easily replaced if it breaks. Any other monitors I should be looking at?

The monitor you have cited looks very decent. It is LED backlit. That is a plus.

When I monitor shop, I like to go to a B&M store and see them all lined up and displaying the same thjng. Then I can choose based on my perception, and then order my choice from Newegg or somed other vendor.
