Anyone know if nvidia scaling can be used with an NEC 20WGMX2? Its well known that the monitor itself will not scale images if connected to the adaptor via DVI, but there should be no issue using the adaptor to scale the image prior to the monitor receiving the signal. Anyways, I would love to take advantage of this featue, but the nvidia scaling option doesn't show up in the nvidia control panel when connected to this monitor. Any help would be appreciated.
 
Nope, its in current driver versions. I think its an issue with this particular display. If you look around nvidia scaling has been implemented for quite a while now.

 
AHA! I figured it out! To enable nvidia scaling on the 20WGMX2 you have to set up a custom timing profile for the monitor and check the tic mark next to "reveal modes hidden by this display" (or something like that). Works like a charm now.
