I have a couple Win2kPro+NTFS systems that both recently warned me that their respective page files were too small -- 20MB. I'm not sure what could've been altered on either to change them from the 190MB+ that both used to be. (They both have plenty of free space, RAM, etc.). One complained about the page file a few days before the other, and I can't recall any software installs, changes, etc. on either preceding the problem.
I tried to increase the size of the page files, and tried toggling them from Applications to Background Services to see if I could get the numbers to change. Still 20MB. File/user, etc. permissions have not been changed on either box, and I know that they haven't exchanged anything (virus, etc.) that could account for this. One PC is at home, the other is at work, and they've never "talked"...
I've tried running SFC and even the repair process via Windows setup, but the page files are still locked at 20MB. Ideas? Thanks.
