20GB IBM Deskstar 60GXP makes grinding noise at lower temperatures

The heading pretty much sums up the problem. At lower ambient temps, the drive makes a grinding noise. The noise isn't overly loud - if the drive made it all the time, I wouldn't worry. What is disconcerting is that it makes it only when colder (nothing excessive - maybe ambient temps of 20 degrees C or so). The noise is constant, and doesn't seem to be affected by seek operations, etc. The drive otherwise seems to operate normally. The Drive Fitness Test didn't uncover any problems (it has, however, been fairly warm recently - I haven't had an opportunity to run the DFT when the drive is buzzing). Is anybody else experiencing something similar? If nothing else, the noise is annoying.
