Everybody knows that Staples will have the 20GB 5400RPM HDD for $79 - $20 MIR on Sunday/Monday. But you can order it over the phone from staples.com (where it's $99), pricematch their own B&M stores (where it will be $79 on Sunday and Monday), and use one of the several $25 off $75 coupons floating around, for a total of $35 after coupon and MIR. Of course you must wait until Sunday morning to do that.

OK, I see, slightly different deal but the end result is the same, and this is what counts :) There may be one problem though -- if I remember correctly (Staples is down now, can't check), the HDD is a bare drive, and those don't qualify for the ATA100 rebate. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Staples doesn't sell bare drives. It's a kit. including software, rails, and audio cable. I used about six of these recently.

I'm getting sick of posts like these, recommending the $25 off of $75 coupon so you can take advantage of the PM on Sunday. THERE IS NO $25 OFF OF $75! And if you expect us to call in the coupon, it doesn't count.

Now, if I'm wrong, please straighten my a$$ out because I'd love to do this deal.

I haven't been able to find a $25 off of $75...
Plus the drives are out of stock at staples.com (at least in my area)

Dead deal for me!

I'm sorry for advising use of the $25 off $75, apparently there is no such coupon valid now :( I used one on my last order, but when I looked at the receipts, it was on Jan. 28. I must have thought it was sooner. Thanks againt to lizardboy for suggetsing the original deal!
I also changed the title of the topic.
