LOL at the Tesla shill who wants us to give them their roses for a Semi-Truck that's been "coming soon" for nearly 5 years.

Sadly, the econobox category is dead in the U.S. auto market and will never return. It's certainly sensible to develop and market a BEV equivalent of the Corolla for global sales, but it's not what we're dying for domestically.

Personally, I don't believe EVs are forever dead in the U.S. I agree that the "mid-market range" is where volume and profits are at, and if automakers want to survive the coming Chinese onslaught, they better have both ICE and EVs to sell to American and Euro consumers. The BEV retreat of Detroit and Honda certainly begs the question of which legacy firms are doomed to fail as Chinese exports flood the world.

What do you think this factory is for then?

Look, we get that you love your Model Y and its "FSD." I also concede that some people are extremely put off by Elon's antics, and refuse to give Tesla its due as a success story. Personally, I'm somewhere in the middle.

Is the Tesla Semi truck not multiple years late already? It's a weird flex to ask people to acknowledge successful vaporware?

Yeah it is years late because of Elmo time. I was waiting to see when Tesla would actually build a factory/production line for the Tesla. We are there now with the factory and a production ready design. Why is stating facts now a weird flex?

Tesla Finally Has Its First Semi-Truck and It’s Already a Hit With Truckers
