It hurts my soul that the 4 door versions will sell way more. That proper 2 door Bronco is an awesome vehicle. I kinda want one.
....but yikes at starting price of $30k :\
granted, if that's your single, all-rounder motor transport in this modern world with ridiculous wants that replace actual needs, it's a good option.
That's the Sasquatch package, yes, they really call it that.neat, great having it back I'm sick of all these big dumb pickups crowding the roads.
I owned a Bronco II. It was for many years in the JD powers list of the top ten worst cars of all time. Managed to drive mine for 250k miles.Looks very nice. One of my uncles had a pair of Bronco IIs back in ancient times that he really liked - brings back memories of the many fishing and hunting trips we took in them. I also recall him spending more time working on them then he did driving them - one of them was always not running for some reason or another.
I'll be interested to see how much aluminum is in it. A lot, I'll bet, especially in the doors and panels. I hate aluminum.
I just hope it hasn't inherited the F150's spark plugs that keep breaking off when you try to change them. Those things are beyond annoying.
I like it and it checks a lot of boxes. I hope they come out with a Raptor version with a V8 that I might be able to afford once they depreciate 60%.![]()
Popular vehicles are popular. A lot of people will pay a premium to get something they really want.I'm really digging the accessory rack on the dash. About freaking time someone thought of it. But you folks do realize every redneck is going to be buying these for 20% above MSRP, right?
I agree, but when a dealership is sitting on inventory and no one is buying and they still have ludicrous markups then that is where I roll my eyes and move on. For instance, several Chevy dealerships nearest me did that with the new vette. They held more inventory than anyone was willing to pay for the markups. I searched on Chvy's own website and had to literally go out of state to get an MSRP offer. Sometimes the dealerships think the market is there, but it cannot be proved when they are sitting on inventory.Popular vehicles are popular. Then that's a stupid dealer, not a stupid buyer.I agree, but when a dealership is sitting on inventory and no one is buying and they still have ludicrous markups then that is where I roll my eyes and move on.
