My 99 Chrysler 300M had transmission and electrical problems and the "alloy" rims were made out of corrosion. the Engine was really nice though ... and it was comfortable, and handled decently for a large FWD car.

I got rid of the chrysler at 100K because it was too expensive to keep fixed, and too expensive to fill up with gas ...

Exactly. I guess I'm in the minority that would rather remove a comfortable seat then simply stow an uncomfortable one...at least for the middle row.

They are nice if you have to transport adults. The comfy seats are heavy to remove though. Really depends on your use case. For me it's far more important to have flexible seating that I don't have to lift or store outside the vehicle. It's equally important that this Chrysler come in a stripped down Dodge Mainstreet version that has an MSRP south of $30K.

Looks nice and the battery will be great gas saver for all the moms sitting in line waiting to drop their kids off at school (why does no one take the bus?).

Too bad about the use of the terrible 9-speed transmission though. I wouldn't be happy to have my family stranded when it goes kaput.

They're supposed to be more reliable now, but they still blow. My Jeep Renegade has the 9-speed and it's super meh. The most annoying part is the "turbo lag" where it has to drop from 8 or 9 while cruising down to 4 to accelerate on the highway, which can take up to three seconds. I've almost gotten smooshed a few times by semis & busses because I couldn't get up & go fast enough to shoot forward out of the way quickly :thumbsdown:
