2017 ATG Calendar?

I know we've talked about this before and it has never happened, but hopefully bringing it up in March instead of November will be better.

I'm not sure how much interest we'll have in the age of smartphones and Google Calendar, but if we were to come up with enough quality photos is there enough interest to make this worth pursuing?

I'd love a ATG calendar. Print calendars > digital. Or at least it's good to have both.

I can handle the logistics (formatting, ordering, putting up an order page, shipping, etc) if we're doing it. Not that I'm necessarily the best person or anything - I know there are some pro graphics people here - but I'm happy to do it if needed.

When would we need image submissions by? I'm hoping to get some cool shots of my subaru in yellowstone/zion/moab/bonneville salt flats this summer.

Yeah, that would be enough time. I could have the calenders ready for shipping by December 1st in that case, just in time for the holidays. I plan on ordering a few sample calendars before then to compare quality, to make sure we get good bang-for-the buck.

I'll post the min/suggested image specs required for printing if this is a go.

I'm game. We'll probably get enough submissions that we'll have to be selective, but if not I have a lot of stuff I could come up with.

You can probably create a submission thread after enough people show interest here. I'm thinking of using Zazzle's 2 page, medium size at least as the reference, unless larger format is desired:

Submissions should ideally be at least 6MP (2000 x 3000) and preferably higher to allow for good quality printing, especially if cropping is needed (helpful to keep the cars from being too close to the edges of the frame when shooting photos).

That sounds reasonable to me. They could potentially be smaller if we end up having pages with two or more photos, but it's a good baseline.
