This is probably the engine that they will use in the GT500 when launches as well. A 600+HP tuned version of the EB 3.5 (though they won't call it an EB on the GT) from the F150. Probably a softer version will be used in the next Raptor before they put it in a Mustang.

Love it all, but could they have picked a more hideous color for the auto show? What creative nitwit decided an off-blue that almost looks pastel would be a good thing on a stage?

Love all three of them (except for that wing on the GT). Realistically, I wanted a 2014 raptor and may buy one of the new ones in the distant future (after the Vette is payed off - or I decided to sell the evo).

Love the GT and the GT350R (though if I were going for the latter, which I most likely wouldn't, I would probably just get a GT350).

GT looks amazing, but I wonder how it would look without those C-pillar wings, with just free standing rear wheel pods.

I really hope there's some form of hybrid system in the FGT they're not telling us about (yet) or they're slow playing the drastically low weight.

Otherwise I just don't see how this commands the pricing rumored on GT forums.

Limited edition, insane amounts of power, low weight supercar...and you don't know how it'll sell out at $XXX,XXX? Who do you think it's geared towards?

$150k isn't crazy money for this kind of car these days (I know....)

A base V10 Audi R8 is 153k. Which would you rather have? The GT!

No way, screw the new hybrid supercars. :colbert:

I much prefer the new hybrid supercars. Using an electric motor to fill in the torque gaps of a ICE is a brilliant use of technology. Using an electric motor to power the car and an ICE to recharge it so you can get have good fuel economy is the awful thing!

It's nice, but adds to cost and weight...

I have no doubts (or objections really) that it will be six figures, what I take issue with is the suggestion that a V6 powered Ford can get Aventador level prices. Also, 600hp is not insane these days when Ford itself has released a 662hp Mustang for <$60k.

Granted this is complete guesswork of strangers in a strange forum that I've never visited before the last few days. It could be completely wrong, and likely is.

Normally I agree, I'm just trying to reconcile all the information floating around. Much of which is probably wrong, but then again a week ago a new GT was pure rumor too.

Supply and demand. Limited supply, so the market will demand whatever pricing it wants to. Not going to say they'd sell for $1M each...but let's be honest - they'll sell out at anything under $250K, easy.

Need winning powerball tickets bad. I'm so in love with that shape. Surprised its that sharp and low with the pedestrian protection designs nowadays. DONT CARE love it.

Not sure how I feel about all that plastic on the front end of the GT. I would expect that on a Focus or a Mustang, but not in a high end car. Everything else looks good.
