My gf drive approx. 84miles a day or 30k miles a year. Does Volt make sense to her?

First I don't know much about hybrid car but from what I was told by people that own Fusion hybrid and Lexus 200, Fusion(40miles a day) he paid $100 a month on gas, Lexus(15miles a day) paid $60 a month gas.

I heard that Volt got the best range and people getting very very good milage.

right now she is paying $400 per month on gas, how much saving you think she can get?

And it will be a 84mth lease, if the new Volt is as good as the old one will it reach 200k miles without major issues?

7 year lease?

400 on gas when gas is ~2dollars a gallon? was she really spending ~800+ dollars a month on gas?

Sorry 7yr finance

84mth finance @ $525 per month for Volt(web price)

Right now with her mini she is paying $485 per month on gas, gas a lot higher here in Canada.

All price in Canadian Dollar, to you American friend $1CAD = $0.7US

You need to know what she'll be paying for power.

Check if there's a way you can reduce that cost by charging off-peak (ideally on a separate account since you likely cannot change your power use distribution all that much).

For what it's worth with gas as cheap as it is my C-MAX is cheaper to drive on gas than electricity. If I converted the garage power to a separate account I would be able to get a little bit cheaper through time of use billing but it's largely offset by the account surcharge for that billing method on my <20 mile per day usage.
