Ugh, that carbon fiber and those wheels. Why? I'm a Ford / Mustang fan, but man is that ugly.

High 10s on slicks isn't bad though.

I'm not a fan of the paint or the wheels in this case, but I do find it fascinating that you can buy a GT and run in the 10s with just Ford Racing bolt-ons and good tires.

The blue one in the photo gallery doesn't look too bad, but that snake scale version is just hideous.

This isn't new at all. FRPP has been selling superchargers for years. I think the biggest is a 2.9L whipple twin screw that they rate at 750hp. This is for the coyote engine.

I suppose it's cool that anyone can walk into a ford dealer and spend a bunch to get their new stang into the 10's. Seems like an expensive way to go about it though.

Oh, that was snake scale? It looked like carbon fiber in the smaller pictures. It makes sense now - I was wondering how the hell they either built it with all carbon fiber body panels ($$$) or why they used an ugly wrap.

Still not my thing.

Actually it's not even snake scale, it's just honeycomb/hexagonal. WTF, if you're going to bother with that at least pony up to make it look like what it's supposed to, it's not like it's that much more difficult/expensive for the vinyl wrap (which is all that is I'm guessing).

I wasn't a big fan when I first saw it, it just looks off. Can't tell if it's a drag car due to the rears) or something else (the front tires look more normal). The lighting didn't do it any favors there either.

Yeah! Who would ever think a snake has hexagonal scales!?

Keep in mind that the use of "bolt-on" is somewhat understating the degree of mechanical aptitude needed to install all of these mods. IIWM I would just opt for the Hellcat which offers similar performance, probably is price competitive, and is built and tested from the factory, offers an enormous capability to customize the suspension, power output, ect. right from the drivers seat. It even has a "valet" mode FOB that dumb's it down to 300HP and 2nd gear start so a novice driver (or a valet) won't have the ability to do burn-out's that Bruce Springsteen writes song's about while you enjoy eating dinner. If your preference is the 'Stang body styling though this is quite an upgrade.

Ah yes, stretched snakeskin, great f'ing rebuttal there. Weird how even there you can see how the scales overlap and aren't perfectly hexagonal like the lazy work on the car.

King Cobra is a rather ignominious marque...

Yea, the 302 only produced 140HP, it was detuned badly for emissions, thing is if you found one in good condition they actually look excellent in a solid paint color and the 302 can easily be modded to a nice output and those cars were very light (based on the Pinto platform) so one could wind up with a fairly quick car on the cheap, thing is there are few of those left around.

Yeah, but you'd still have a Pinto. No thanks.
