wha?!
That chick from Gotham would have been a better choice

Whoever selected her should be fired.

Most beautiful? FAR FAR FAR from it.

Just the fact that she dated ....what's his face, makes her quite opposite of beautiful.

Goes along with previous selections like last year's. I'm torn about this, while I'm glad that the pick wasn't some cookie cutter European model type, this smacks of the magazine trying to overcompensate the other way. There's nothing wrong with either Lupita or Sandra, but to give either the #1 ranking is more of a personal taste thing than applicaiton of an objective standard. A close analogue is how some people can say that Sarah Jessica Parker is beautiful, while by most quantifiable standards of beauty like symmetry she's nothing special.

People still read People?

Get 10 people in a room and ask them who the most "beautiful" woman in the world is and you will get at least 11 different answers.

A very subjective assessment and relevant only to the 13 people who still subscribe to the magazine ... and 4 who actually pay the full newstand price.

dud is the most beautiful woman in the world IMO. Or at least could pass for it 10 years ago.

I don't think anyone actually reads People. I think it survives on waiting room subscriptions alone.

There is nothing of consequence to read in People anyway. It's like those fashion magazines. All pix, with a bit of filler text here and there.

BTW, I noticed it's popular on airplanes, although it's gradually being replaced by Angry Birds on iPads and mobile phones.

And if their wives enter the room and you ask them again you will get 20 different answers:whiste:
