Transistor scaling ends after 2021 due to economics.

2019 the move from finfet to gaa begins. Next comes 3D stacking.

2024 another thermal wall is hit. Microfluidic channels used to increase effective surface area.

Guess stacking memory on an interposer could lead to some increase but at what cost?

Transistor scaling ends after 2021 due to economics.

Either that, or computing turns back to its roots and becomes a government-funded project/boondoggle (depending on your PoV). If there are shrinks to be had, someone will probably fund it from the gub'ment side.
