I have found (and solved) major bug in checkpoint loading function.

From the Universe Test site.
Since the update, the new WUs are not finishing for me. In fact they will not even "Suspend"! I aborted all the new ones.

Has anyone else had similar problems?

Yeah, same here on the not completing. Suspended ok (I think).

xray 0.04 tasks are the culprit(s)

Mine says suspended, but if I look in Task Manager they are still running ... along with whatever started in it's place! I had ten threads fighting for the seven allowed. When I closed BOINC and restarted the same WUs started over from the beginning, no checkpoint.

I left a msg on the "bug is fixed" post and like you, aborted all 0.04 WU's and have stopped getting new tasks for now.

The server status shows 0 tasks (down a bit from 19,000, lol) so I've set my rigs to accept new tasks again. Fingers crossed! 🙂

I've switched back to edges, had too many problems with universe. Even with the newest version it kept getting stuck. Lost about a days worth, will wait until I see the all clear.
