No memory seats on the IS350 F Sport and the clunky mouse were part of the reasons I went BMW. Memory seats are a god send as its our only car.

Wow... thats a real WTF thing to leave out on a car that level. Its not just in the premium package or something?

If you do go MB make sure you spring for the keyless go. It sounds dumb, but in practice its awesome to never handle your physical keys. If its a lease, just drive em and get what makes you happy. Its not like any of them are bad cars at this level. They just focus on different stuff.

It was for the 2014.. Looking at the 2015 it says:

LEXUS MEMORY SYSTEM FOR DRIVER'S SEAT
This feature allows two drivers to personalize and recall the settings for the driver's seat, outside mirrors and steering-wheel position.
OPTIONAL ON: IS 250, IS 350 F SPORT, IS 350, IS 250 F SPORT
INCLUDED IN: LUXURY PACKAGE, LUXURY AND TECHNOLOGY PACKAGE

BUT.. if you try to build you own IS350 F Sport there's no Luxury package nor an option for it.

How about a new Audi S3?

might as well get a golf R or golf GTI. not a fan of the way it looks. looking forward to the A4 refresh though.

and lexus did some weird things with their packaging for the IS350 in 2014, leaving out cooled and memory seats if you got F Sport. you could only get F Sport OR Premium features. They now included cooled seats and memory seats (i think?) in 2015 Fsports

i've never used memory seats before, but my wife and are around the same height so i guess it doesn't matter for us

That's insane to me that it's not a standard option on a car of its class. Even on base 250/350. I can sort of see it for base 250 though. My dads 2000 explorer limited had dual memory seats. 15 years ago.

It's not insane at all, it's Lexus. Their constant questionable design decisions and ego-driven unwillingness to budge are some of the major reasons I will never own one.

That and about 80% of them are driven by women.

I'd get the ATS-V. ;) And if for whatever reason that wasn't a good option, the CTS V-Sport is hands down one of the best buys right now, period.

It's everyone really, and it drives me crazy! I loved the memory seats in my 2004 Expedition Eddie Bauer. Now I can't find anyone that really offers it, even my Dart Limited didn't have them. My Buick Verano doesn't have them. Having memory seats tied to individual fobs (and it also memorized the pedals) was amazing being 6' myself and my gf at the time was 5'4".

My VW, BMW and fathers E350 all do that. I think my brothers TL does it as well.

I only estimated 80% because I was trying to give other locations the benefit of the doubt. At least around here, it's closer to 90%. I know one guy who drives a IS250 as well, but every other car I see on the road is driven by women. The IS250/350 seems to be the official go-to for quasi-successful entry level management types (see: I'm a call center lead and need to feel important now with a car brand that is simply a Toyota with a stripper name), and the executive types roll around in a GS350. The elderly blue haired women are often seen hunched inches away from the steering wheels of their ES.

An acquaintance of mine is the new car manager for the biggest Lexus dealership where I live. When I asked her, she said that greater than four-fifths of their sales are women. Oddly, she also said she only had about a 60% lease rate which I found fascinating given that the BMW dealership here is in the high 90's.

That's pretty spot on from what I see around here as well. Also I would trust a Lexus hitting 200k miles before a BMW hitting 140k miles.
