Shameless renewed.

I love this show to no end.

I realize that it's way past any semblance of reality and that it's all getting a bit "old" now. But god damn if it isn't still funny. And in all honesty, if they just put a still frame of Emmy Rossum every week, I'd watch that for an hour.

Agreed. The best part about it is that when you think it can't possibly get more F'd up ... it still finds a way to get just a little bit worse. And then there's things like what happened in the credits of the 1st episode this season. William H Macy in lacy underwear ... I just ... damn it, that's funny.

Also, don't forget about the hot professor

Heroes (Reborn) has been unofficially cancelled (again).

Officially it was designed with "intent for limited release" and they are happy with it as it was as a one season arc.

my problem with that show has been the 'master of time and space' character. It's an interesting idea but I don't think it works when you can move forward and backward with no restrictions whatsoever. It's one of the main reasons I stopped watching the original show.

Love the show, first episode of this year was very weak though, hoping they readjust things going forward.

The problem is that the original Heroes wasn't intended to be a continuing series with the same characters. So, designing people with ridiculous powers (like Peter or Hiro) wasn't a problem. Unfortunately, with the series being so popular, they decided to do a continuing story. It makes me wonder... if American Horror Story had aired prior to Heroes, would they have been willing to use season-based stories? I think American Horror Story certainly proves that the method works.

Personally, I was rather disappointed with Heroes Reborn. There were a few good episodes in there, but most of it was just bad.

I loved season 1 of Heroes. 2 was okay. I actually think the writer's strike made it better than it would have been because it was already clear they weren't sure where they were going with it. Everything after that was garbage.

Continue to scream about the Empire!

Scream Queen and Empire renewed.

More Fox news:

24 renewed, albeit with a totally new cast.

Bones isn't cancelled (yet), but it doesn't have but more than one season left.

The longer Scream Queen went, the stupider it got

Ya, but I loved the hilarious wise-ass dialogue in the show.

This really is a comedy rather than a horror show.

The stupidity cracks me up with its Dumb & Dumber type of characters.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

The show is so stupid that it's good. I love it. Wonder if they'll continue the same story or do an American Horror Story type thing.

Into the Badlands is watchable, but I think it has to be a short, limited run series like The Killing that AMC did.

I think that's the amazing thing about Shameless. They manage to make it just a little bit worse. They're so close to the edge that it would have been easy to overdo things and jump past the point of no return in season 2. But they keep the balance beautifully.

I disagree. It was supposed to be campy and silly.

Unforgettable is probably dead.

They just ran 2 episodes in a row last week, and just ran 4 episodes including the season finale this week. You don't do that to shows you want to keep...

Previous seasons were a bit...campy, but watchable. This season has been terrible.

CBS has renewed Person of Interest, 13 episode slate. They wrote this season as if it's going to be the last season, but will leave it so that it can be picked up if someone wants to renew it next year. Word is it will be in the SUMMER or FALL lineup this year.

This makes me sad. I knew about it, but still sucks :(

For a show that's been cancelled twice in three years, getting to 61 episodes is a pretty good run. And with cable networks, it's hard to figure out what they plan to do sometimes.

wonder if they did this as a way of getting the syndication rights cheap for the prior material.
