Bought a few games so far, but have been playing Sniper Elite V2 that I got free not long ago.

Pretty good game, if a little clunky on movement sometimes. Reminds me a bit of the Thief games.

I would say pass on Nether. There are many reasons why this game went from $30+ to $3 so fast.

I played ~10 hours over the course of early access and it just got worse and worse each time I played it. At some point, they cut your movement speed down so drastically that I can't even play it anymore. You have this giant city to explore and it feels like moving at the speed of a crawling baby.

Hackers are apparently a big issue as well but I haven't play enough recently to have seen anything suspicious.

I am a huge fan of the genre but this just isn't a good game.

metacritic is full of 0s. there's 1 10/10 which actually sounds like one of the devs wrote it. another with 5.9.

they are saying it's worse than dayz and warz. everyone is kill on sight, the players are immature and childish, etc.

I bought Transistor. Didn't bother to wait for a featured deal because Supergiant games are fantastic.

And I'm loving it. Still don't have a mastery of the combat system, but it seems pretty cool. Still have enough funds in my wallet to get something for about five bucks, it'll be interesting to see how today's dailies are.

I'm thinking of getting this as well, but I'll wait and see if it goes on sale.......it got some good reviews on Metacritic.

So far, I've only bought Skyrim, X-COM, and Sleeping Dogs.......trying to only buy the best games (when on sale) and add to my collection.

I haven't used any mods an any of my games, what's the best way or place to go about getting them (links)? .........hopefully with an easy setup utility?

LOL this bug has not been fixed for months. I should of done some research before buying. Waste of money.

It's a caution on Early Access and croudsourcing. Not the worst and a lot is truly good stuff. But with something like EA over something like Kickstarter. Is you get in on Kickstarter as ground floor guy, when they grant you early access you have seen most of the development from posts and update through KS. You know what it's going to be like. You saw what the game was like before the post. You know the mess you are getting into.

EA on the other-hand is like advertising a game as a playable object being sold to everyone. When sometimes it's really debatable. Add onto it that some times these developers really need a money infusion so they hurry up something semi loadable.

An example. I KS'd Carmagedon. I know that playable was going to be a stretch when I finally got my key. But that's cool now I can play through it throughout it's development. But to EA people it's a playable Carmagedon, when that isn't really the case. I am glad EA exists for games that had crowd-funding from the beginning, because it simplifies the distribution of Alpha and Beta playthrough's that were promised during the campaign. But EA as it is on Steam specially with them being part of sales, even more then KS is sometimes treated, this truly a product to be sold and used and for the most of the products that isn't the case.

EA to be sold really should be at a beta stage where content and graphics are mostly finished and it's mostly about clearing bugs and optimizing performance.
 
With that purchase, my list is now up to:

Skyrim Legendary
Borderlands 2 GOTY
Deus Ex: Human Rev Director's Cut

And I've only spent $47.54. Not bad at all.
 
Where are all the available games?

I can't see them on my phone except a few. Wish work would let me load up the steam page.
 
So far I bought Unepic ($2.49), Risk of Rain ($2.49), and The Cave ($3.74).
Four days down and they got $8.72 from me.
Eight days to go and $11.28 left in my Steam Sell Budget.

Edit: I completely forgot I bought Risk of Rain on Friday!

so far all my game purchases have been for my friends and my minions. plenty of time for some of my wishlist games to go on super sale, i hope. 🙂

still, 16 games for about 55.00 isn't bad at all.

Unfortunately, not much on my wishlist has had a very good discount. The Wolf Among Us and Pixel Piracy were the only ones.

Well that's annoying. I guess I should have waited for their 'Complete Pack'.

Any suggestions on which additional DLC is worth getting?

I'm thinking of getting this too.......my cousin's are visiting me this summer.....I'm guessing (like the consoles) this can be played on one PC monitor while supporting 2 X-Box controllers?
