That South Region is completely ruined for the Sweet 16, but I got Florida going to the Final Four so only one damage to the Elite Eight and everything else is still looking good for me.

let's go Kentucky..team fr0sh

This is the first good look I've gotten at this years Wichita State team. Unbelievable discipline and 'full-possession' effort from everyone. And they are like swiss timing the way they play as a team. Unless Kentucky hits a miraculous percentage of 3's, they are way too young and inexperienced to hang with them.

My bad, shockers got shocked. Kentucky's elite individual talent and overall size beat wichita's teamwork.

Another way to put that is: Weak schedule, over-rated, over-seeded, would never have been close to being undefeated if they played in a decent conference.

I understand what you guys are saying but teams like Ohio State, Syracuse, Kansas, Nova, Duke, etc. are all watching from home as well. And they had strong SoS. All of those teams lost to teams worse than UK. Let's be honest, not too many teams have the same talent level as UK. If Calipari can somehow get them to gel you may very well see them take down UL next week as well.

What just happened at the end of that game? I couldn't hear the audio. It was obvious a TO was called while time was still on the clock. So what exactly were they reviewing?

Initially it appeared there would be 0.4 sec left but the review also determined that the game clock did not start on time. So by subtraction, time had run out. Game OVER

Yeah but it also didn't stop in time when the ball went through the hoop. Odd. In retrospect I guess they should have just chucked it or called a TO at the end line.

UK has already beat UL once this year. It's going to be a very evenly matched game next week, it's anybody's game. UL has been pretty hot since losing to UK in late December, though.

Yep I can't wait. Kentucky/Louisville and Tennessee/Michigan should both be good games. UK likely has the biggest ceiling but UT is may be the hottest team in the tournament right now. I'll bet they would rather play a double header with Michigan tonight as opposed to waiting a few days.

This year is nuts. Everyone's bracket is fubared. Luckily I had KY over Wich St but that's about it.

UVA is absolutely teabagging Memphis right now, thank goodness. I can't take anymore upsets.

This year is actually my best bracket in quite a while.

My Sweet 16 is perfect for East and Midwest, and I only missed Baylor for West (assuming Arizona holds on). South is of course messed up completely except Florida, but I still got 7 of my Elite Eight and all of my Final Four picks safe. This is so unlike the recent years where all it took is the round of 64 and all but one of my Final Four teams are gone 😛

Jabari Parker is awooden POTY finalist. Just goes to show what nba hype does to someone that doesn't even win their conference's POTY. As much suck as wiggens often showed, can't believe he's not a nominee as well with all of draft hype.

How can you even be considered for the Naismith award when you are nowhere close to even being your conference's MVP?

Which is why all it is is hype and a popularity contest. He wouldn't be mentioned if he didn't play for Duke. I think it is McDermott all the way though
