This is the biggest Halloween sale Steam has ever had.

The most exciting thing, however, is the new releases (many of them aren't necessarily new, but they're new to Steam). Deadly Premonition! Typing of the Dead! Alone in the Dark!

Ugh. So many games, so little money.

Aw, can I donate to the cause? You contribute so much to these boards.

One notable game missing from the list from first post:
Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons (50% off).

I played the demo (on Xbox360) and liked it and now bought the PC version from Steam.

lol no. Video games are literally the last thing I need right now. And I already picked up Typing of the Dead, which is what I wanted most (you can grab it from GMG with a 20% off voucher right now).

Wish Castlevania was a little cheaper. Been wanting to play it but still have so many games on backlog and with BF4 just coming out. Suppose it will be cheaper by the time I have time to play it.

I've been waiting to snatch Resident Evil 6 at a decent price. Now looks like the time, thanks.

So rather, too many games, too little time!

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines - $4.99

One of the best RPGs of the 21st century. The graphics are dated but the art direction, music and atmosphere still make it a very good game to play.

There is a patch (Wesp) that fixes many script bugs and other glitches. There is a "basic" install option (fixes only) or a "plus" install with gameplay changes for adding variety (not recommended for your first time).

Toreador is the easiest race to play (IMHO) and Celerity is an essential skill.

While the game is good, the patch wasn't made by the developers or the publisher, so basically, you are paying the publisher for something they didn't fix. The game 'as is' is broken in many places, and you won't be able to finish it.

This is why I say don't get the game, the publishers don't deserve one dime.

I must disagree. The game wouldn't exist if the publisher hadn't funded it. They deserve the $5 for creating 95% of an excellent game even if it didn't sell enough copies for them to patch the last 5%.

Bought me some Pirates!

Just because.

Will also be picking up Final Fantasy VII for $3 once I get home this evening.

I played pirates when it first came out. It was fun for a while, but kind of just went on and on with no finale. Definitely worth a try though.
