2013 Nissan GT-R spied

That is a seriously impressive car for the price. I do wonder if it would be more interesting with simply the Infiniti badge, though. You'll note Toyota used their Lexus brand for the LFA...

I've thought since it first came out that if they would scrap the heavy 2+2 body, make it a lighter, curvier 2 door coupe, maybe up the power a bit, give it the interior upgrade it got later, they could seriously sell it as a $100,000+ Infiniti no problem.

I'm mixed, there wasn't much really wrong with the car, and yet I'm disappointed they didn't do more. I've never hated or loved the looks, but think it could look better. Maybe when it gets an overhaul.

The car in those spy shots has a bodywork kit front and rear to hide the real lines....right?

haha no, i know wat u mean though, the sideskirts, and front and rear splitter look to be made of cheap plastic in those pics, but they dont look that bad in the Road & Track pics they posted in their May 2011 issue.

The model year is also 2012. i think its really cool that owners of older GT-Rs (R35) can have their cars upgraded to 2012 specs.

also the power output is rated at 530bhp and torque is at 448 ft-lbs. it weighs in at 3965 lbs.

0-60 in 2.9 secs.
1/4 mile time is 11.1 @ 124.3mph
0-100 in 7.1 secs.

overall very impressive performance figures for the price of $89,950.

You'll note the LFA costs twice as much as a Ferrari though...

As for the new GT-R, it doesn't really look much different than the old one.

That would be like selling the Corvette as a Cadillac. It's a sports car, not a luxury coupe.

Contrary to popular belief, the GT-R is actually a Grand Tourer (GT) car and not a sports car, which makes its performance figures look even more impressive given that.

Doubt the production model carries different front and rear wheels. The rears look like Volk TE37s.

+1
the front wheels are apart of the "black edition" (starting price of $95,100) that also gets unique seat trim, colors and those front wheels, i dont know wtf those back wheels are though
