2012 Steam Holiday Sale! DEAD!

Darkness II for $2.50, XCOM for $20, Mass Effect 3 for $10, Amalur for $10. Spec Ops for only $2.50 is insane.

Amazon is definitely kicking butt this year.

I jumped on Miasmata near the end, from what I read in the discussion forum on Steam and the RPS review it sounds really cool.

Dark Souls for $12.99 is pretty good, right? I think it was on sale at one point, but it was either around that price or higher.

Yeah, that's cheapest I've seen it. Good deal. Just be sure to use DSfix to fix the resolution, and play it with an Xbox 360 controller.

Am I reading something wrong about the THQ collection on Steam? 22 games for 24.99?

Yeah, I missed that one. I'm tempted to get it, at the same time I have like a 15 game backlog. I wish I was a teenager again, both for physical and gaming time reasons, I could plow through this pile in a month or less.

I bought the THQ bundle, even though I owned 8 titles, just because buying all the others separately, even at their sale prices, would've come to like $80 or something like that.

You can get it for free right now after the credit.
Been trying to grab it for a long time now, I keep getting slapped with this.

Looks like they killed the deal sorry. Price is back up to $7.49

Picked up GameMaker Studio Professional for $33.

Before you poke fun: I bought it because a couple of friends and I actually want to make a game. I was already debating getting GameMaker on "sale" for 50% off ($50), and I wasn't expecting it to go any lower. For $33 I took the dive.

One of my friends bought it earlier during the sale, but non-flash sale, so it was still $50. I now get to make fun of him for overpaying.

The only negative thing is that if you want to export to mobile devices, it will cost you an additional $68 per platform, and that's with the 66% discount.

How is Torchlight?

Its not on steam but anyone every play Age of Conan: Unchained (formerly known as Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures?

Thanks

Wow, Serious Sam franchise is 85% off.

I've never played a Serious Sam game, but my friend and I are keeping an eye on co-op titles (looks like most of the games in the series are).

Anyone have any thoughts?

Serious Sam games are great fun. They are fast paced shooters. I know with Serious Sam HD 1+2 you can coop with up to 16 people iirc.

For the cost of the serious sam pack, that is a hell of a lot of good gaming for $14.xx
