2012 Steam Holiday Sale! DEAD!

Honestly, unless you're going to play Fable 3 with someone, I really can't recommend the game. Most of the fun that I had playing the game involved me messing around with a friend doing pretty much anything else other than the story. Her other husband got a bit jealous and divorced her after we had a big 5-person romp (required to upgrade a weapon!). So, I killed him. That's what love is all about, right? :awe:
I'm hoping to find a decent deal on the game so my friend and I can pick it up 🙂

Co-op games are the greatest

Anything out there have that "gotta play it" excitement?

I have metro 2033 now, bio shock 2, batman arkam city goty version, left 4 dead and witcher.

most of the sale items are same ones for same or less discount running the last 3 times...I'm going with less user demand as the reason.

Well, hell. $21.84 to EA for ME3 DD. It ain't never going lower, least not for years due to their sale policy, might as well.

Amazon is going to have it on sale for $19.99 in the next few days iirc and it is an Editor's Choice game so if you bought a digital game from Amazon in the past month you got a $5 credit good towards EC games making it $14.99

It has to activate on Origin regardless of where you buy it.

I'm surprised they haven't been on sale yet. They are pretty much stables of a big Steam sale now.

A buddy of mine recently got on steam. In the 1980s and 1990s he was into the dungeons and dragons stuff.

I gifted him left 4 dead, left 4 dead 2, elder scrolls oblivion, and would like to gift him something from the fallout series.

This would give him a well rounded collection of zombie games, fantasy role playing, and post post-apocalyptic games.

Maybe gift him the Stalker series instead? The new Fallouts are just too much like Oblivion gameplay wise. If you had a gun in Oblivion you'd think you were playing Fallout before the nukes 😛

The stalker series is on sale for 50% off. If it goes for more then 50% I'll gift it to him.

The stalker series is probably right up his alley.

I was hoping to build my buddy a well rounded game collection that would last him a at least a year. He does not keep up with PC games. So its easier for me to gift him the games he will probably like, rather them him researching the games.

If the Stalker series doesn't go on sale, if you own one of the Stalker games on Steam already Call of Pripyat will be 75% off because of a loyalty program.

When I add S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat Loyalty Promo to the shopping cart, I can not check out.

Purchase for myself and purchase as gift are both grayed out.
