Well, the one bright spot in all this for the Republicans is the world will end in a month and a half anyway so it isn't like this really counted.

Ditto Virginia; there are roughly 100-120k votes remaining to be counted (closer to 100k); Obama is up by over 50k votes Even with 120k votes, that means Romney would need more than 85k of them to beat Obama in Virginia. Again, that's more than 70% of the remaining votes.

Obama: 56,078 vote lead in Florida. 97.4% counted. Assuming approximately equal sized polling stations, it leaves roughly 121,000 votes remaining. Romney would need 56k of those, plus more than half of the remaining =~88.5k of the remaining votes. That's 73% of the remaining votes - not gonna happen.

I think they may as well call Florida. My estimates are that Romney would need a little more than 70% of the remaining votes.

Florida should have been called before Ohio... Theres even less chance of Romney winning in Florida with the outstanding votes than in Ohio.
