http://rawstory.com/2009/11/palin-glenn-beck-clever-rule-palinbeck-ticket/

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, asked whether she'd campaign with Fox News' personality Glenn Beck as her running mate, chuckled, but according to a conservative website, "wouldn't rule it out."

"It's no secret that former GOP vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin and Fox News host Glenn Beck share great respect and admiration -- so their fans can be forgiven for wondering: Is a 'dream ticket' of Palin-Beck ticket is completely out of the question?" Newsmax's David Patten wrote Tuesday night.

"Perhaps not," he added.

"Palin initially chuckled when Newsmax broached the idea," he continued. "But then she had some serious words of praise for the popular Fox personality."

"I can envision a couple of different combinations, if ever I were to be in a position to really even seriously consider running for anything in the future, and I'm not there yet," Palin reportedly told Newsmax. "But Glenn Beck I have great respect for. He's a hoot. He gets his message across in such a clever way. And he's so bold – I have to respect that. He calls it like he sees it, and he's very, very, very effective."

My God . . .occasionally, I find Beck entertaining and I enjoy listening to Palin stick her foot in her mouth every time she opens it to speak, but I just felt a chill go down my spine. Seriously, if Palin alone was on the ticket without anybody else, it will be a failure for the republican party. Put Beck on the same ticket and we just might see the first unanimous electoral vote in history.

I'd like to think such a ticket would give an opening to a third party... but there's still too many idiots who won't consider it.

I could see this ... however I am willing to bet that Obama will get re-elected because people are misinformed and won't know who else to vote for.

Yes, Palin and Beck would be much better heads of state than Obama and Biden. I'd vote for a can of creamy mushroom soup before I'd cast a vote for Palin/Beck ticket.

Obviously you would, I'm from rural Ohio though and I know a lot of people that would go the other way.

It would be another crappy choice for me. I didn't like Obama/Biden or McCain/Palin

Great idea! Then we can make Carl Rove the secretary of state, and Hannity the secretary of commerce, and Rush as the new drug czar (oxy for everyone)

I,m actually old enough to remember when there were legitimate polititions in the GOP, not the crop of second rate movie actors, oil men politician wannabes, religious fanatics and straight up psycopaths that we have seen for the last few decades in the GOP. The Grand ole party is not so grand anymore

Great source of red meat for the rightwing Cartel in here. Oh just for you info, the Republican party is already fucked right now and their constant obstructionism is not winning many people with a brain over to their side.

I predict a Palin Beck ticket would get 20% of the national vote easy, beyond 20% it gets a little harder to find voters that ignorant.

But rejoice, Palin is a news media sensation, so she will be in the public eye for a long time to come. On any slow news days, all a reporter has to do if find a new Palin quote and the story writes itself while the GOP becomes even more fragmented and confused than it was before. As the Pied Piper from Wasilla leads the GOP off the nearest cliff while singing drill baby drill.

Or, all she has to do is wear a revealing tennis outfit (?) and put a picture of it on the cover of a popular managzine!

the right wing yelling corps represents the fringe of the republican party.

there's a reason why none of the candidates supported by Rush, Hannity, and co never made any significant headway in the GOP primaries.

Google is our friend and googling Tebow yielded Ted Tebows girl friend is stacked.

I submit, if Bristol and the ill fated Levi Johnston was unable to lift Palin over the top, Ted Tebow's girlfriend will surely do the trick. No expensive wardrobes needed, and in fact the less the better.

Speaking of which... who else WILL we vote for? Looking awfully thin out there.
